Artist Statement

From vision to flesh....

  My interests are varied. Varied but interconnected :Religious imagery, organic shapes, the feminine form.

  Religious imagery: I am interested in translating the idea of the spirit into an abstract form. I intend to do this by combining mosaic and painting techniques creating a hybrid of both fields.

  Organic shapes: I've always been interested in the molecular world. The world beneath ours. I also intend to explore this theme with mixed-media by using ceramic tiles and acrylic paint.

  The feminine form: My digital work allows me to explore the feminine form in an abstract environment. My intent is to create a story with each picture. The element of mystery being the primary emotional drive.
